I met this guy on Raya a few months ago and we hit it off. I was a little concerned when he turned up to the restaurant with a bin bag of Trojans, but I’ve dated comedians before, so there was a comforting familiarity to the stunt.
He seemed nice. Like the sort of straight-up, down-to-earth, no-strings-attached man I’ve been manifesting. A rarity for Raya, but stranger things have happened, I suppose.
Above all, he really rates that I’m celibate. He likes to take the time to reflect on this, often spending weekday evenings entirely by himself— even switching his phone off for contemplatory reasons. I’ve never known dedication like it. Something just feels right.
Anyway, I guess this is us ‘hard launching’! I asked David if he wanted to do a collaborative post, but he said he’s worried it’d overshadow my spotlight. That’s so typical of my sweet, sweet feminist king.
