Power Play White
The Art
"‘Power Play’ is a series of A1 screen prints showcasing scratch card icons, presented at 50 times their standard size. An important element of this piece is the purchase transaction, in which the buyer of the artwork does not know the value of the payment they make. The artwork can only be purchased by gifting the artist 50 valid, unscratched scratch cards. The buyer will receive a postal notice directly from the artist to inform them of the final value of the piece." – Harriet Richardson, 2023.
