“Princess is a thought-provoking exploration of identity and transformation. The artist's choice to depict the Disney princesses with almost unrecognisable faces in a pastiche of a cheap knock-off serves as a powerful symbol of the fluidity and complexity of life. It challenges the viewer to question the notion of fixed identities and traditional beauty standards. But beyond this, the use of unconventional materials and experimental stitching techniques further emphasises the artist's intent to break free from traditional artistic conventions. This piece pushed the boundaries of interpretation, inviting viewers to engage with the deeper meaning behind the familiar characters. It is a testament to the artist's ability to provoke introspection and spark conversations about the ever-evolving nature of existence.”
